Quote from: Charlotte_Ringwood on Yesterday at 01:42:44 AMGlad to hear you're having a good week. However anxiety is pretty rough and like you sometimes I go through periods where there is always something to worry about. You basically can't relax. I'm guessing hormones can affect this. When I took progesterone via a more direct route it threw me into deep anxiety. Taken orally no problem. Also though, anxiety can be transient with things like tiredness, energy, illnesses, weather and such. The first I know that I'm getting a cold or flu is sometimes feeling on edge. We are all different so if it carries on maybe get your levels checked and also general health if you wish.Charlotte 😻

Quote from: Stottie Girl on Today at 04:43:18 PMMilitary history is a very interesting subject. Especially for us Brits as we we've got so much of it!I'm trying to get hold of my relatives war records at the moment. I have one who was a glider pilot who died at Arnhem during Operation Market Garden WW2, my Granded was in Burma with the RAF and no-one knows what he was doing there so that is an interesting one to dig into. My other grandad was posted to Iceland weirdly.I have a great grandfather who was in the Boer War in South Africa and was involved in the seige of Ladysmith (a famous battle) met Cecil Rhodes and ended up an overseer in a diamond mine in Kimberly. He had quite the life.
Quote from: Sephirah on Today at 05:31:04 PMYou have quite the interesting family history! Is there a first name it would be okay to call you by, honey. Stottie Girl sounds kind of impersonal. I am Lauren. It's okay if you don't feel comfortable disclosing it. I totally understand. But I always feel more of a connection with people when they have something I can call them instead of a username. @Stottie Girl
Quote from: Stottie Girl on Today at 05:38:17 PMI haven't really picked one out yet but my mum always told me she was convinced I was going to be a girl and had chosen the name Sarah louise for me. she was a bit shocked when I arrived but maybe she was right all along!I think I'll probably go with that for the time being so, Hi Lauren, I guess I'm Sarah!
Quote from: Sephirah on Today at 04:12:42 PMWhat is it that appeals to you about it, AA? The geography and battlefields? The technology and ordnance? The geo-political climate? Or something else?
Quote from: Alana Ashleigh on Today at 06:12:19 PMAll of the above. It was a battlefield for most of the last century. It's been a battlefield for my entire life so far, so I'm familiar with the modern conflicts there.
