Lori Dee

In the service, we played various war strategy games for training, such as Risk. One thing we learned about the Middle East is that there are always wars there because it has no natural defenses.

It can be attacked easily from any direction. When that happens on multiple fronts simultaneously, it falls. But then the next wave hits, and whatever was there gets attacked and falls. Rinse and repeat throughout history.

I became convinced that even though you can win a war there, you can never hold any ground for very long. And that is the reason peace does not last there.

Too much fighting.  Too much hate.   No more warring!

Stop it, humankind!

Chrissy
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Chrissy, this made me immediately think of the song "war" by Edwin Starr.
