In the service, we played various war strategy games for training, such as Risk. One thing we learned about the Middle East is that there are always wars there because it has no natural defenses.

It can be attacked easily from any direction. When that happens on multiple fronts simultaneously, it falls. But then the next wave hits, and whatever was there gets attacked and falls. Rinse and repeat throughout history.

I became convinced that even though you can win a war there, you can never hold any ground for very long. And that is the reason peace does not last there.

Too much fighting.  Too much hate.   No more warring!

Stop it, humankind!

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Chrissy, this made me immediately think of the song "war" by Edwin Starr.

Sounds logical. I think it's why the UK hasn't been invaded since 1066 (well that and we're pretty good at scrapping!). Being an island has it's perks! Nearly a thousand years and counting!

This is an interesting way to look at it. It makes perfect sense.

This girl is having a good day. I had a waxing appointment, then walked around the mall, got Starbucks, and then went to Ulta and bought new makeup, and a small bottle of perfume. I had an affirming experience at the waxing salon with the receptionist and another lady waiting for her esthetician to come out. They included me in the conversation they were having. I'd call this a very girly afternoon. 🥰

After a turbulent last few weeks, it hit me tonight that the last few days I haven't experienced any of the unpleasantness I was experiencing. I've felt pretty happy and content. It's a relief to not feel so unhappy.

Forward it is. 😀

It is good to feel comfortable and not frustrated, that is for sure.
That is why I did not buy some lavender shorts on Saturday.  They were too short, and I knew I would feel uncomfortable wearing them out and about.

Have a terrific day Alana!

Hrt is working its magic on my chest. My chest has been quite sore, tender, achy, and several other adjectives the last few days. It feels surreal for all these changes to be happening. I spent half my life wanting this to happen and it finally is. It feels so incredibly validating.

The changes are wonderful to feel and see.  Bumping your boobs into something by accident can certainly be felt so be careful!

Today is my 9 months of being on hrt. The changes seem to be picking up speed. I'm feeling, and noticing so many changes...

Today, I noticed I'm walking differently. I'm swaying my hips when I walk, and my walk has become quite feminine. I never consciously made an attempt to walk differently. It just happened.

I was out and about today and was really noticed how much bigger, and fuller my lower body was feeling. It was really noticeable when I was walking. I put a ton of effort into training my lower body at the gym. It's definitely paying off. 🥳🤩
