What do you do about peach fuzz?

Hi everyone. I guess this question is mostly geared toward MtF. Maybe you've already done laser or electrolysis and the only facial hair you have now is peach fuzz? I'm curious what you do about it?

I personally do various different things. Sometimes I shave it for extra smoothness, I've tried dermaplaning, and I've used some products by "Finishing Touch."

I think it's actually beneficial for women to shave their peach fuzz or dermaplane it. You do exfoliate dead skin that way and it can give extra smoothness. I've heard things like "it will grow back thicker," but I have not seen this.

I am curious what do you all do about peach fuzz or any kind of facial hair you may have?

Mostly, I ignore it because it is very fine, light colored, and almost invisible. But, like you, I do shave it or use hair removal cream occasionally for the extra smoothness.

Facial hair (terminal hair) is different. I have tried many methods to remove it, but none have been successful. So now I am undergoing electrolysis to remove it. It is a slow and painful process, but the only one that is truly permanent.

I haven't noticed any peach fuzz.  I still have a few follicles of beard hair that electrolysis didn't kill.  After five years of electro, I had had enough, and decided to just live with it.  So I shave every morning.  It goes pretty quickly, and my face feels pretty smooth afterwards.  Nothing shows.

I'm still getting some laser treatments because I still have some dark hair (especially in that tricky spot right at the bottom of the nostril where it's difficult for the machine to get into because it's bumping into your nose), and a few minutes ago I was plucking a few longer hairs, since my laser tech has told me that I'm at that stage where there are a few hairs that, once they are long enough for tweezers, I can pull them, root and all, because the roots are weak enough to not really be stuck in there.

Bellabe makes a coiled spring hair remover that works great for peach fuzz.

You bend the spring into a U-shape, hold it against your skin, and twist both ends. It grabs the fine hairs and pulls them out. Takes a little practice to get the motion right, but once you do, it's quick and effective.

There are also generic versions that work just as well and cost significantly less.

I had an electric version made by EpiLady. I don't think they are around anymore, but you are right, the coiled spring method is very effective!
