No way I would follow that advice in that song.  Marry for love, her attractiveness is a plus.
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

I should clarify... don't worry about being beautiful. Even ugly people can be happy, get married, and live fulfilling lives. Just keep being you. The most beautiful people are those who are authentic and honest. Like you!

  @ChrissyRyan  @Lori Dee
The terms of UGLY and BEAUTIFUL are extremely subjective as described in the following:

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is a phrase meaning that perception of beauty,
attractiveness, or value is entirely subjective and varies from person to person.
Coined by Margaret Wolfe Hungerford in 1878, it suggests that observers, rather than the
object itself, determine beauty based on individual experiences and preferences."

Absolutely this. I genuinely am attracted to people who make me laugh, who I can have an intelligent conversation with, who I feel comfortable enough to open up and share everything with. Who have the same interests. Whether someone is beautiful or not isn't a factor, physical attraction is far less important to me. I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

I have a community business roundtable meeting to attend today.
Not my favorite thing to do but sometimes some good comes out of the initiatives.

Have a very nice day!

Quote from: ChrissyRyan on March 21, 2026, 10:41:15 AMI will try to post but I really do not have much of anything interesting to post like Jess and Lori and others do, such as Lauren.  I better stop mentioning names as someone may not like it that I did not mention their name.  Y'all have some interesting tidbits.  I am glad we do not have to limit just talking about trans topics.  I would be repeating my words a lot probably and bore.

Just to mention, Chrissy, that I have to literally fight the urge to delete everything I write in every post I make, haha. It is sheer force of will to post anything. Probably why I have so few posts in such a long time. I do not consider anything I say to be remotely valuable or interesting.

But... beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To that end... keep being you, sweetie. Because you're beautiful. <3

Lauren, I know I speak for everyone here, that is absolute rubbish.  Your words have done more good here than I can possibly say. Your words heal, help, and protect whenever you share them!

Your beauty is profound and loving!

Sorry Lauren, but that's bull poop! You always know how to say the right thing and what you say is always interesting to me. It is always valuable and interesting. Like Emma says you are a force for good. I know being British we don't like to blow our own trumpet and are overly modest but I for one think you're a legend! Don't hold back on posting.

I have spent much of my day off with my sweetie and her visiting younger sister.  They are both a lot of fun.  Looking at them and you can for sure see they are sisters although a number of years apart.  I gather that my sweetie looked just like her sister when she was her sister's age.

I hope your day is going nicely.

I will see both of them tomorrow.  I am staying at my sweetie's place tonight.  Her sister is using her guest room while she is visiting her.   I suggested to sweetie that we should be "a little quieter" tonight so her sister would have no issues with getting to sleep, as traveling can take some energy out of a person.  She said that it amazes her at times how I think of so many courtesies, then she put her arms around me and gave me such a sweet kiss.
