Quote from: Charlotte Kitty on May 23, 2026, 06:42:09 PMGlad you had a nice day. Curious what cute red clothes you bought. Guessing cami top and maybe bra. I'm probably wrong 🙂

I will post the answer soon in the Fashion area about "your latest clothing purchase" or similar title.

I plan to have basically a relaxing day.
Maybe do some laundry.

May take a walk.

Have a wonderful day!

I am going to a park later today and maybe cook a couple of authentic German bratwursts on a charcoal grill.  I need to get some charcoal.  I am not as prepared as I should be.

Maybe I should just take my little one foot butane portable grill.  Perhaps I should just eat at home and go to the park.  As you can see, I have not made up my mind.  But that is okay.

I wish my Sweetie was available but she has to work a holiday shift.  Have a nice Monday.

I ended up taking my little grill to a park, cooked the bratwursts, then ate them at a picnic table.  I brought a tablecloth because who knows what is on those tabletops.

They were good wursts.

I saw some birds and a toad.

Dear Chrissy:
I am happy that you had a nice lunch at the park.

You are correct about putting a table cloth on the park table... you have
no idea what is and what was on it.

Some key problems people have are:  a lack of compassion and love for all, plus they often do have indifference and ignorance.  This is not good.  But this has been around for many years.

It takes some effort to nudge oneself away from these not so good situations. But loving opens hearts, builds peace, brings out kindness and gives people hope and feelings of having value in this world.  I love my Heavenly Father and people.  Some people are harder to love for sure than others.  Compassion opens hearts and nurtures.  We need more of that.

Indifference can be quite problematic. One may not be able to be involved in many things but being indifferent on big, important issues can be quite the problem in itself.

Ignorance may be hard to avoid but one should try to understand many viewpoints and recognize your biases.  You may not agree with others on some big issues but seeing others' points of view may spark getting some common ground, then you can work together to improve things.  Could we then have better communities?

Yes, that is an oversimplification.  Life has many issues with no easy answers.  I sure struggle with trials but I work to better myself.  Try to have a kind disposition always.  Brighten someone's day.  Make it so.

Hugs,

Chrissy

I remember hearing this said one day, and it bears repeating:

There are only two ways to live your life.  One is as though nothing is a miracle.

The other is as though everything is.

I had to travel this month for work.  It was tiring.

I try to avoid this out of town work.

I guess I do not have much to share now.

I will see my MD soon for a checkup.  Besides my breasts, the rest of me is not as perky as I think I should be.  My BP and heart seems fine.  We will see if there is anything wrong by doing a preventive check.  Perhaps there is a "low hanging fruit" solution.  For instance, I may need to sleep more.

Hugs,

Chrissy

Hydration and sleep are the best cures for jet lag.

You travel a lot, so you already know that.

I have had a lot of stress lately.  In a way that is good because these trials can make you stronger.  I have lots of vacation time.  I am hoping the big boss will invite me on a cruise again, he rents a nice private boat for his family almost every year that I remember.  There may not be cabin space because both of their daughters may be on the boat for a family vacation.  One year I received an invite because one daughter was away.  So maybe I will take a public cruise to Alaska or take a nice scenic train ride.

I may try to work four day weeks for a while too if not away on vacation but one paid day off a week.  That way I can stay more refreshed unless I work longer days.  I like working but I need time to myself, or more accurately, free time.

It is always good to have some downtime to decompress and recharge your batteries. I worked four-day workweeks for many months on projects that allowed it. We worked ten-hour days, so we did not exceed 40 per week, and our employers did not have to pay overtime. I enjoyed the work, so working four tens was not bad, and we got a three-day weekend every week.

Highly recommended!
