Well they may have had a lot of people to contact. I guess my point is that if you specifically selected this professional there must have been good reason to do so. It is often hard to get in as a new patient. It is not that I cannot see your frustration and anger, it is just a highly recommended provider I personally would not throw away for someone new, after one event like this, all things considered.
Medical staff can have to deal with so many patients too for many doctors and offices are often understaffed so they make the calls and other contacts as soon as possible so patients would be the least inconvenienced. It could be that her/his child is sick. It is not easy to get day care I hear.
Calls are usually made though plus the cancellation emails.
I hope you get in soon for your help. I heard that overseas it may be really tough to find someone to see without a long wait but it also happens in the USA.
