Quote from: Charlotte Kitty on July 26, 2026, 10:38:52 PMWhy do i make such an ugly, deformed, vile woman that looks a sandwich short of a picnic with the visual appeal of road kill? Charlotte is a woman but looks disgusting and hideous with it.

Honestly i don't know why I wasn't aborted before birth.

Yo, you need to relax. Why do you do this to yourself?

BUT, I can fall into similar traps. So, I can understand that. However, beating yourself up like this is not good for you.

I've got deep set psychological problems. I remember feeling similar as a 7 year old. Its most likely I got BPD judging by the fact I've been referred for DBT. Its all consuming because its basically the only way i know how to be. Ive never experienced not feeling and reacting this way. In reality my life is very comfortable and stable with very few problems. But makes no difference and my brain is wired for decades to find any reason to be unstable.

Okay. I don't have those issues. But my friend has ADHD. Different thing, of course. But I see how it consumes him. So, I can understand that. I'm sorry if I was out of line here.

A few happier bits here. I got my fiance a Rainbow friends bear from Build a bear while in Bournemouth. An extra birthday present for him. There was an offer so I got a cute Hello Kitty. It was lovely as the person who stuffed them for us was enby and had loads of pride pins and also a rainbow bear. They noticed my rainbow engagement ring which is identical to their wedding ring! It was so special having our bears completed by one of us. We showed each other our tattoos too. The whole place was so friendly and welcoming.

That is so awesome. Considering how close to my heart my Portia Porcupine doll is to me, I can totally relate. Hmmm, maybe I will talk about that.

Quote from: Charlotte Kitty on July 28, 2026, 03:33:57 PMBut a part of me is self destructive and I'm fighting that on a daily basis. Of course you get to see when i lose that fight in full technicolor. But for each of those days there are more that I win the battle. And its no lie these battles happen daily and many times a day. I win loads for each one lost.

Thanks to those who have stuck with me.  That have been kind and think I'm worth the hassle. I really appreciate it.

I never engaged in self-harm. I just couldn't get my head around that. Any time I would hear about that (or worse), all I could think was: "Jeez, if I could just give that person a hug". One of my little contradictions in my head, what with being a misanthropic empath.

I'm glad to hear about the fact that even though you are having these struggles, you are able to fight back against them. That's the key, right there. I know it can be psychologically draining. But you just keep smacking those vibes upside the head, ya know?

Dear Charlotte:

I am so very glad that you had an apparently helpful session with your therapist today.

I loved reading your statements that:
"right now I'm really happy with my femininity."
"I get to enjoy the clothes I love and that feeling of being out there as a woman
    is still magical."
"Voice training is going great and i rocked swimwear for a whole day! You know, a
    lot is going perfectly."
"The only true disappointment is my breast growth, but I've got the means to fix
    that thankfully."

Here on the Forum, your readers, followers (and certainly me included) are your
biggest fans.  We are eager to see you succeed in your journey.
We wish you happiness and success as you continue on.

I am glad you realize that you are winning. More positives outweigh the negatives. Just try to hold onto that when the dark thoughts appear.

When that voice in your head says you don't pass, remind it that you spent an entire day on the beach in a swimsuit. When the dark thoughts try to insert doubt, just remind them that MOST of the time, you are a beautiful and happy woman.

Hang in there, sister. You've got this!

Hey Charlotte,
Just a bit of catch up. Those Bournemouth photos look really cute. You make a nice couple.

Thank you so much for your support of me. No matter what you are going through you always help other people.

Every time you post a photo of you having fun it lights up my day.

We will both get through this

💗💓💞💕
And then one day you stop to find,
10 years have got behind you,
no one told you when to run,
you missed the starting gun

Charlotte Kitty

As you are all probably aware I'm experiencing very intense emotional shifts very frequently, and which I'm struggling to manage. I can totally appreciate how this affects my interactions both here and elsewhere, leading to some pretty negative rants and content. This is really putting me off continuing here and on other social media such that on many occasions I have wanted to cut and run.  But every time I think of all the love and care I receive from the people here and on my other socials. Some of which have helped me make real steps forward like to the most part believing in my femininity. And also think about the times I can help others feeling in a similar way.

So this leaves me in a tricky place as to how I can experience the positive sides of online participation and mitigate the negatives so I can stay as healthy as possible and not just annoy everyone. I just want to apologise to anyone that follows my progress and that has offered their hand to help me. My responses I understand can be distressing and seem insincere, and for that I'm sorry. I am trying to get better but it wont happen overnight, and in that case everything is down to how well I can defend myself from the darkness. On a plus I have spoken to AI which has offered some things I can try and hopefully improve with moving forwards.

I'm just broken...pretty badly! Transition is amazing, but its also highly triggering for the psychological issues I have.

I do really love you all!

To bridge the gap over the next few months, you can use core DBT-style concepts right now to create "buffer zones" between your reflection, your triggers, and your online presence.

Managing Mirror and Comparison Triggers
Cover the mirrors: Place a cloth or sticky note over mirrors you use often, leaving only a small space for necessary grooming to limit accidental triggers.
Mute and unfollow: Aggressively curate your social media feeds by unfollowing or muting accounts that trigger comparison, even if they are other trans creators.
Practice radical acceptance: Remind yourself with a short phrase like, "This is where my body is today, and I am actively moving forward.

"DBT "TIPP" Skills for Sudden Crisis
When the mirror or a post triggers an immediate breakdown, use physical sensations to change your body chemistry before you touch your phone:
Temperature: Splash ice-cold water on your face or hold an ice pack to your chest to trigger the mammalian dive reflex and slow your heart rate.
Intense exercise: Do 60 seconds of jumping jacks, wall sits, or high knees to burn off the sudden surge of adrenaline and emotional pain.
Paced breathing: Breathe in through your nose for 4 seconds, hold for 2, and exhale through your mouth for 6 seconds to calm your nervous system.

Safe Digital Substitutes
Lock your phone down: Give a trusted friend or family member the password to your screen-time settings so they can lock you out of social apps when you feel a breakdown starting.
Create a private venting space: Set up a locked, private digital journal app (like Day One or Penzu) where you can type out your feelings securely without anyone else seeing them.

Thanks so much sweetie and really means a lot you checking in on me. I'm glad you like the photos and I really do love being with my fiancé so much.

I love being able to help others and want to see you happy along with everyone else that's looking to grow. It has been tough but I'll keep trying. I really appreciate your love and care too, despite me being very erratic and probably very hard to deal with.

I'll try and post some more pics soon of anything fun seeing as you enjoy them. One day we will both get through the tough bits, however that happens!

Love and hugs

Have a wonderful afternoon Charlotte!

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Have you tried to color your hair yourself?
