What has been your best recipe recently for a tasty food?

What did you make?

It does not need to be your recipe, but a recipe you used that turned out great!

It is terribly unhealthy but I made some burgers. I baked the burger patties and toasted the buns in the air fryer. The cheese that I used was velveeta slices as I find kraft disgusting. What really pulled it together was chopping the bacon into small pieces and fried the bacon and onions and near the end I used some maple syrup.

It added a hint of sweetness to the burgers but I think they turned out well.

And yeah yeah I know imagine that a Canadian putting maple syrup onto everything.

Potatoes O'Lori.

Get some frozen Potatoes O'Brien (I know Brien, and he can't cook.) Follow the directions on the package. Sometimes, I will add a little bit of sweet corn for color. And chopped olives, if you like them.

While the potatoes are cooking in the skillet, whisk three eggs. Season them the same as you would scrambled eggs, but go a little bit heavier on the seasoning. When the potatoes are starting to brown, pour the eggs into the potatoes and stir until done.

Scoop them onto a plate and sprinkle with shredded cheese. For a breakfast dish, sprinkle with crumbled bacon.

For Mexican style, use the Mexican-style four-cheese spread. Top it off with chunky salsa and sour cream, and/or guacamole.

Yum!

Kind of in the spirit of Lori's, recipe... I don't eat potatoes, but eggs are like super good for you. I like an omelette. Three eggs, a pinch of sea salt, or rock salt which is better, beaten up. Black pepper. Rather than a skillet, I use an omelette maker. Like this:

Add to that some chopped spring onion, chorizo sausage (the authentic Spanish stuff is best) and chopped, gently fried mushrooms. It's super yummy.
