Quote from: Sephirah on March 14, 2026, 03:50:35 PMThis hits kind of close to home, so I won't say what I'm thinking. Other than I am sad that his life must be so twisted that he feels he has to be like that. And I hope that, during his time there, he can get some help to change. I suspect not, though.
Quote from: Stottie Girl on March 14, 2026, 03:57:33 PMit's possible. I am a firm believer that if someone takes their punishment (assuming it was just and fair) then they need to be helped back into normal society otherwise, they will just end up re-offending. It doesn't mean i don't think jail should be hard, it should be, it is a punishment after all. I hear US jails are pretty hardcore. It might change his way of thinking if he doesn't want to go back there. Not sure what sort of rehabilitation programme they have in the states.
