Has anyone tried Adobe Firefly as a way to try out different hairstyles? I've found it quite a fun tool for imagining new styles. You can do the same with clothing but I'm not posting my fat butt on here ha ha! I'm just using the free daily option. I'm not suggesting people post the results on here I just though some of you might find it a useful tool.

You look great and nice to try all those different styles. I'll give that a try myself sometime.

I used a similar app to try different styles and colors. Once I figured out what I thought looked best, I went online to shop for wigs. Most of the full-coverage wigs were too hot, so I switched to toppers. The hardest part is dying my hair to match the color of the topper, but I eventually figured it out.

Some apps will let you try makeup the same way. Try different colors of lipstick, eyeshadow, etc. There are some that will let you experiment with eyebrow tint and shapes. It is a great way to experiment for free.

Don't just go by what you like. Ask a trusted friend what they like. If they pick the same ones you did, you have a winner!

Didn't know about the makeup Lori, That's something I could try though to be honest I just like experimenting for real there. I'm just playing around really, not thinking of changing my style as I think I've found "my look" as it were. Could be fun for others if they haven't tried it.

Okay I will temporarily put up an AI generated picture of me, created by one of our very own staff members here!  It features me as a blonde.  I will post it as my avatar, so it will not be up that long.

She made me up very pretty and a little younger looking.  I would not need FFS with this face.

You can also do it in google Gemini. Tell it to create an image based off of your headshot with the hair style and color in question.

Yeah most AI apps with an image generator can do it. Like I say I'm just doing it for a laugh but I've often heard people on here saying they are struggling to find a feminine style. This could actually aid you with that. Of course it does mean giving an AI an image of yourself which some may not like.

Second image in the top row, Sarah.

I have never, ever been someone to do a fringe... or bangs as they call it outside the UK... but yeah.

As someone way too indoctrinated from the "Terminator" movies... I have kind of an aversion to AI. I do kind of like the whole "50 Shades of Sarah" though.

I was going to the bank one time, and there was a work van in the parking lot that was from a security company called "Skynet security." I said to myself: "Sarah O'Conner tried to warn us." 🙃

I've tried the face swap app and I used the gender swap filter. I have a few of the pictures it generated. I've tried a few different apps, but didn't like the way they came out.

Haha, they tried to warn us! People are kind of wilfully ignorant. 50 years of sci fi, warning about AI... Isaac Asimov... yeah we know how dangerous AI can be. What's the first thing we do? Give it access to the whole of the internet, train it to be smarter than we are, and monopolise resources like the whole cryto-mining thing taken to the next level. Doesn't matter as long as your talking toaster can make you some toast. Or you can hold a rudimentary conversation with ChatGPT. Doesn't matter that they're burning through every GPU made, because the companies that make them, make billions off it.

We are too stupid to be smart.

The really scary part is that they are using AI to make military decisions. Even ChatGPT warns to check important information because it can be wrong.

As I recall, wasn't SkyNet supposed to be part of a missile defense system? Like, say, a certain Orange Man's Golden Dome?

And who were the people sitting with him during the Inauguration Ceremony? Space-X owner Elon Musk, Meta's Mark Zuckerberg, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Sam Altman CEO of OpenAI, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, among many politicians and businessmen from various countries.

Nope, nothing to see here. Just connecting the dots.

Downward bangs can be pretty.

Side-swept bangs too though.

I also heard they are called fringes.

Yeah that's what we call it in the UK, Chrissy. People have a fringe, not bangs. I never understood where that term came from. For myself, no I never could do that. It was too much of a hassle. But I love it on other people. Kind of like tattoos.

Our own @Sarah B... she has the most amazing hair. And she is quite beautiful. That girl makes a fringe look quite phenomenally sexy. She is the Australian equivalent of Claudia Winkleman. If you've got it, flaunt it.

It shifted during the movies, yeah. But in the third movie, it was supposed to be this military defence system, which got infected by a virus. And... that's how it all kicked off. Probably the most realistic of all the movies.

Ha ha! If you think that's bad, the UK's homegrown secure military satellite communication system is called "Skynet". You would think they could have picked a less worrying name wouldn't you!
