Stottie Girl

I've finally had a eureka moment with foundation. I have tried and tried but always ended up looking like I had a freaky scary cakey mask on. I had pretty much given up on it but I finally managed to put it on and get it to look normal tonight!

After moisturising, I have discovered that if I put blobs of foundation on the back of my hand instead of on the brush or sponge and work it onto a foundation brush using my hand as a pallette I get a uniform skin like finish. I've obviously been applying too much foundation previously. Eureka!

I have been trying nearly all my life to get that right ha ha! I am a dozy cow sometimes!

A little can go a long way.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

This is how I do my BB cream. Spread on back of my hand then pick up with the brush and dab / slight strokes around my face. Then after brush on a light layer of powder. But I do use toner, moisturizer and a very light fruity primer first.

I don't use a brush to apply. I use a cosmetic sponge to dab all over. Then go back over and dab with a brush to give it a more natural look.

Glad you figured it out. The secret is always to figure out what works for you.
Congrats!

I don't use foundation. I just use a tinted moisturizer. Its simple  effective, and better for my skin.
