Thanks Lori. It is a good match for my natural colour. I figure wearing my natural colour means the change wouldn't be so dramatic if/when I grow my own hair out.

That's good thinking, as it will maych your skin tone.

I went the opposite. Had dark brown hair most of my life, but always thought I should be blonde. I prefer a strawberry blonde, but most are too red. It is time to recolor, so I may try a salon again. The last few times were failures. I did a better job myself.

I love strawberry blonde and red hair in general. One of my good friends growing up had the most gorgeous long strawberry blonde hair. I was very envious of her. I think you would suit going a red shade personally Lori.

I have a red wig, and I got a lot of compliments on it. Surprisingly, or not, they all came from sister redheads. I prefer blonde with just a touch of reddish tint.

This was too red. So I am looking to go somewhere between my profile pic and this one.

My first wig was red. I've just dug it out of the bottom of the cupboard! I love the colour but I definitely don't suit that ha ha! awful style on me too. It was the cheapest of the cheap wigs too.

It isn't that bad.

I'm not a fan of the mahogany colors, so if it were a lighter shade, it might work. I do like your blonde wig better, though. The longer hair looks better.

Gentle day today I think. I'm feeling a little bit better from the Sciatica after another bumpy start this morning so I might salvage some of my favourite plants from my garden to take over to my new house once the jungle is tamed! My mums doing chicken fried rice for lunch and some of my relatives are joining us. Will be nice to catch up.

We are expecting storm force winds around 4pm today so I don't think I will get up to much mischief today.

Tomorrow looks canny though so I might see if I can get to that ruin maybe. Will remember my wellies this time though!

I wonder if it might be interesting to people if I did some visits to some of the interesting castles and other places local to me. I could pop a picture or two on here. Would people be interested in that or would I be boring the pants off everyone?

As an example, this is Howick Hall, The home of Earl Charles Grey (yes, the tea guy!) and still owned by the Grey family today.

One of my first transitioning goals was to clean up my speech. I tried to eliminate the 'F' word and a few other slang terms I had been using. Trying to be more lady like. Whenever i hear a girl cursing, it makes me think how trashy she is.

Wow, castles and wigs.  I'm in!

My hair is a little thin and, unfortunately, I can't grow it out, but wigs are so much fun.  Unlike making a mistake with a stylist's haircut or dye job, you can just change the wig...or, as I have done...just throw it out.

I personally agree, both you and Lori look stunning as blondes!
