Finally Anna

Quote from: Stottie Girl on Today at 02:52:53 AMI'm going to order the fitted wardrobe carcasses from Ikea today
I/we have the large (235 cm high, about 200 cm wide) IKEA wardrobes with sliding doors. As always with IKEA there is the handyman's work with putting it all together but we are very satified with the result. Many options for fittings (is that the correct word for the various baskets, hangers and what not inside the wardrobe?).

Out to self since March 5, 2026. My wife knows it all since June 23.
Integration ongoing. I'll cross the transition bridge when I get to it.

Yeah I'm getting the exact same size one. Though it's all for me!

I can't cut down the light as it affords borrowed light to the dining room. So far it only leaks when the rain is very heavy.

Stottie Girl

I'm into my 5th week of being stuck in male mode. I feel like I should be chalking the days on the wall!

The only time I can be me is in the bath when I can spend time shaving my legs and pits, applying lotions and moisturisers and generally pampering myself before emerging back into male prison.

I can see my bedroom being finished in a couple of weeks, then I need my kitchen installed or at least some function to it and I can move in. I'm tempted to move in as soon as my bedroom is done and just go round to my folks for meals or eat out. I'm climbing the walls here. My whole life is on hold.

At least I'm not falling into depression like I was before. It is just massively frustrating.

That sound's so depressing for sure. Would definitely be worth getting in as soon as you can. When i did my kitchen i got a gas camping stove which worked perfect for a few days. Washed stuff in the bathroom. And of course a microwave helps.

We have one each. ;)
My wife is occupying a bit of my trousers-and-suits section but for some mysterious reason it seems my trousers are now multiplying and I may need to reclaim that space - or perhaps I just need get rid of some of the male trousers ;)

I am probably misunderstanding something but doing renovations is absolutely a girl's job just as much as it can be a man's job. Or is it that your girl clothes are under the rubble (figuratively speaking)?

Houses (rentals or ownership) can be quite stressful at times to deal with.

This too shall pass.

Consider dressing androgynously if practical.

I am not out socially yet. My mum knows I am trans but my dad does not. I am having to live at my Mum and Dads while I get the new place up to scratch. All my girlie things are sealed up in boxes (lots and lots of boxes!) and I can't get at them, hence the issue.

That has got to be such a bummer.
