Thanks Tammy. Not sure I'll be all that welcome to be honest but I'll stick around for a while and see whats what.

Welcome back, Sarah!

Glad you are making progress. You look great, and I love your dressing table. Mine has arched mirrors. The two on the sides fold so you can see different angles. But mine doesn't have the lights like yours. I have cheap gooseneck desk lamps clamped to it. How tacky can I get?

🤣

I am so glad you are in your HOME. I will be moving into mine in November, so yes, I get it. It's MINE! All Mine!

The lights are stick on led ones from Amazon! I'm such a tramp lol! The mirror is from Ikea, the original mirror was so low it only showed me from my nose downward lol!

Quote from: Stottie Girl on Yesterday at 03:27:53 PMWell, I figured I owed everyone an update. I finally moved into my bungalow today. It is about 25% finished but I don't care. I'm in and it's mine! I have been able to be Sarah all night and I am so happy. Even got my dressing table set up now. First time doing make up for nearly 4 months! I really am out of practice!

Sorry I've been away for so long. Have I missed much?🤣😁

Yay!  Congratulations on moving in, finished of not.  You look great.

This sounds so good for you!  Thank you for your update!

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

I tested several tables in the store, and I think they were all made for children. Same as you, I could see my chin. Haha. You may have pieced it together, but it looks great.

Thank you Davina! I think I am looking thinner in the face, though the pic with the mirror does make me look chunkier than I am (at least to me), damn wide angle phone lenses!. This one is probably more representitive. I'm getting there, bit by bit!

Thanks Jillian! I appreciate the confidence boost!

Thanks to you too Gina! I've cheated mind, the house is nowhere near finished but I'm going to live in it while I doing it up, I just can't continue living in 24/7 boymode. The last 24 hours have been wonderful! Make up table? DO IT!!!! YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!!

Congratulations Sarah.

I can feel the stress release in your writing.

Great photos by the way. It looks like your dieting is paying dividends too
And then one day you stop to find,
10 years have got behind you,
no one told you when to run,
you missed the starting gun

Stottie Girl

Thanks Petunia! Little by little I'm getting back to where I was. It's a very slow process compared to my pre HRT days. I will be getting my new roof fitted on the sun room and once that's don't I'll be building a mini home gym in there. Hopefully that will enable me to really start slimming as well as glute building, I want better curves!

Despite my female gender identity I actually love DIY and home remodelling and general construction. I could easily see myself do that for a living if I had the qualifications. I would love to be a home builder. I would be one of those construction girls with a pink hard hat lol.

I've built (finished) 2 basements in our homes over the years and did half of a third one in partnership with a builder when we had a new home built. Finishing a full basement is a lot of work and covers multiple trades.

Well I was a gas heating installation and repair engineer for 17 years so I've had enough of all the hard labour to be honest ha ha! This will likely be the last time I tackle something like this I think!

Soo pleased that you're finally in your new place. 25% done but at least the pressure is off now. You're in and can be yourself. That's important. The practical stuff can always be worked around and sorted in your time.

You look amazing and can totally see your relief in that photo too. That dresser is super stylish and very much deserved.

Good to see you back not just in terms of posting again, but also back as your true self Sarah. You were fighting battles on many fronts and definitely needed to find this moment.

Hugs

OK day 2 and I decided to see if I could remember my full glam makeup routine. The eyeliner is a bit sketchy but I think this is how I used to do it. I had only just learned it when I had to pack up and go into hiding and the parents house. It's been nearly 4 months!! What do you think? And yeah, my skanky wig is in desperate need of a wash!! New plum bodysuit too, I'll have to put an update on that wardrobe post, I've been a bit spendy in my misery!!
