Paradoxes, paradoxes, ... 😉💕
Quote from: KristaFairchild on Yesterday at 08:07:37 PMFact. Every time I go out in public or to work in a skirt or dress and full makeup I resist adding breast forms and a wig.
Also a fact. When I do this, I almost immediately feel that since I'm already obviously trans, why didn't I add at least the wig, because I like the way I look better that way.
And: I often repeat this back and forth nonsense.
Another of these ever present roller-coasters that are part of not yet being
totally at ease with the public eye when in the new and shining armour. The paradox? When not in the new and shining armour you aren't totally at ease with yourself.
Quote from: KristaFairchild on Yesterday at 08:07:37 PMThe other part says, "Girl! About 30 people at work really know you're trans and now you are considering showing up as Krista to the other 410? You're nuts!"
The 30 that know? How about the 130 that
know? Or the 230 that at least
have a hunch? Or the 330 that
have received an e-mail with Krista's signature?
Quote from: KristaFairchild on Yesterday at 08:07:37 PMPart of me says, "Krista! It's time! People know anyway so go for your best and most authentic look!"
Well, they do know, don't they?
Be brave and bold! Many more of them than you think, already know. Most of them probably don't care, or are happy for you. The rest can <bad words here>, like Lori Dee said.
But I think you already know this and I also think you have already decided for yourself to be fully Krista on that day, but hearing a few supporting words here can be a good thing.
You've got this! Everything you write here, that I have read, says that you've got this!
