This hot weather has meant I just can't stand wearing my wig. The heat makes it unbearable. I have blonde hair same as the wig and I've not gone bald or been thinning out. No grey hairs either I am thinking of trying to style my hair such that it can be one way in boy mode and a Pixie cut for me time.

Have any of you successfully rocked a pixie cut? It could be a nice feminine style before growing out my hair.

I'm thinking of something like this but blonde:

Do you think I could suit it?

I have worn the Pixie but I prefer the blunt cut Bob style.
Many Pixie styles are somewhat easily adapted to a male presentation should that be needed.

I do not know if the Pixie is suitable to you, a good stylist could tell you.

Jennifer Lien had various Pixie styles and short styles throughout her Star Trek career as "Kes."

Thanks Chrissy, I like the asymetric one in the pic better than Kes's but I guess I would have to check with a stylist. Or I could try Ai again!

I was actually thinking of a pixie or Bob. I have started growing out my hair. I wore a military hair cut for years. I thought one of the two would be able to be styled in a way to present male if I needed too. @Snowangel500 just found a stylist that I may try when my hair grows out more.

That thing needs to be burned! I look bloody awful in it!

I don't know how acurate Ai can be but this is what it came up with.

Ha ha! Not sure personally like! I would have to start somewhere I suppose. I think I'll leave it until I'm out socially!

This hairstyle works for you as pictured.  I am no hair stylist so this is not a professional opinion; but, I LIKE IT.

Well it could be a start I suppose. I so wish I had long hair. I wonder how long it takes to get shoulder length?

I like the gray as well, but that may be to much.
With what ever hair style I go with I'm thinking of gray high lights. But I have a fair amount of gray

It takes about two months for head hair to grow an inch.

Yikes, that means a year and a half then.

Biotin helps. But it is a B vitamin, and Bs work best together. I used to get a Super-B Complex vitamin at the grocery store. Take one tab in the morning and one in the evening. You can't overdose. B vitamins are water-soluable, so you will just pee out any excess, and it turns it bright yellow. Biotin helps hair and nails grow and is good for skin.

If you have labs coming up to check hormone levels, stop the vitamins about ten days prior. Biotin interferes with the lab results, causing false readings.

And that picture indicates you could rock a Pixie Cut. I think a stylist goes by your face shape. For me, it doesn't work, and longer hair works best. It took me six years to get my hair down to just above my nipple line. It needs a trim and style, I just haven't looked for a stylist yet—too many other priorities.

I wonder if a one a day all inclusive multivitamin pill has the appropriate B vitamin for hair and nails

I have looked at those multivitamin pills, sometimes there are some labeled for women and others for men and others are not targeted.  The main difference is the male pills often contain no iron.  Guys may have more iron than needed because of what they eat, etc. as compared to women.

There is probably a lot more to it than that though for iron being in one formulation and not in the other.
