Quote from: Stottie Girl on Today at 09:46:43 AMWhat do they think is going to happen? How many crimes have been carried out by trans people in the UK? I actually can't think of a single story personally. Whereas transwomen are twice as likely as CIS gender women to be the victim of crime. The whole debate is twisted and distorted way beyond the actual reality.
It is based on false assumptions. First, they refuse to admit that transgender women are not men. From that follows why would a "man" want to be in a woman's bathroom? Then they assume it must have some sexual perversion attached. That leads to laws and enforcement. The job of the legislature is to make laws. So, if they are not making laws, they are not doing their job. That leads to laws being written that no one asked for, that solve no problem, or are useful only to further an agenda.
On the other hand, we know that transgender women are women. Which means they use the women's restroom for the same reasons as all other women. There is nothing sexual about it. And 99 times out of 100, we just do our business and leave. No commentary, no issues, not even dirty looks. But there are simple minds that cannot grasp the basics: we are just women, and we have no interest in what other women are doing in there. Seriously, does anyone really care what is happening out of sight in that stall? No. There is no reason to even think about it.
