Hi I'm Bee! I figure I'll get my first post out if the way.

I'm in my early thirties, in the USA. About 1.5 years into starting HRT.

Still kind of figuring out where I want to land, transitionaly. I think of myself as Nonbinary and transfemme, looking into surgery stuff currently. Will be asking questions in the relevant places.

I think I came to transition out of dislike of being a man, rather than strong need to be a woman. But I also have been very, very happy with every step I've taken towards femininity.

Its been a very experimental process for me -- will I like a femme hairstyle, will I like HRT, will I like what changing my voice feels like. So far the answers have all been yes 🙂

Besides transness: I love to ride bikes and see old movies

Looking forward to getting to know you all

Hi Bee!

Welcome!

Surgery for changing your voice is often the last step due to the risks involved.
Also, there is a lot more involved than changing the pitch of your voice to sound feminine.

Hi there Bee! A big warm welcome from the UK.

I'm Sarah from Northern England. It's really lovely to meet you.

By bikes do you mean pedal bikes or motorbikes?

I was a keen road and gravel bike rider whcih is temporarily on hold while I loose a bit more weight. There are a couple of other cyclists on here too. Plenty of motorbikers too though.

Anyhoo, just thought I would say hi!

Hey Bee, I'm  Charlotte and Welcome to Susan's.

Intersting reading about your journey as it very closely mirrors mine. Being non binary and the experimental nature of your transition completely resonates. Kinda chasing the gender euphoria I guess?

Welcome Bee!

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Ah I should have said, I mean pedal-bikes. I mostly ride road and a little gravel. Glad to hear I'm not the only one!

Yeah I was a keen roadie. I will be again once I've lost enough weight. I would probably snap the frame of my Giant TCR right now! I no longer have my gravel bike for financial reasons but I am in a better position soon so I might by a cheap aluminium gravel bike or MTB that can handle me. There are a couple of roadies more serious than I am though. We even have a couple who have taken on the alps!
