I am sorry this happened. Lori Dee put it into words perfectly.

Things are ok now. Similar issue has happened before but as this is 100% on me I will try to work my mind so that it doesn't happen again.
I'm quite sure that my identity journey makes me much more soft and sensitive than I already was. It also makes wifey's reaction be more pronounced because of my overall increased softness and then that "outburst" (words, not shouting)...

The femme stretchy slim trousers now premiered. Together with a male-ish shirt and femme sneakers.
Actually a bit of a meh experience. The trousers are nice, comfy and all that - but still just trousers. I would guess that if paired with a more femme shirt I'd get a different feeling.

Edit: It could be, that a meh experience is my thing. I don't like to stand out. I am quite ok with being half invisible. 💕

Had an evening with a couple of friends and a few friends of those friends. A friend of friends (a man, of course) got into a bit of bragging mode, ref money. I can't really stand such crap and soon went into another room with the only other woman present 'cept my wife and we quickly agreed on the men's conversation being less than "spiritual" and dearly lacking flexibility.

As a side note: She complimented my longer hairstyle and also said that she really liked my blue (royal blue, screaming blue) trousers that I wore at our big garden party back in June. "I liked them a lot! I liked that you went a bit outside the norm!". Yay! Yay! Those were purely femme trousers and I like them. Her comment made me feel affirmed but I could of course not tell her my real story. I tried to explain that my hair and those trousers are actually the real me, being let loose after my retirement.
Well, whatever...

My mom gave me the light blue jeans she wore as a teenager as I could wear them.

I'm much more aware of my looks and my clothing now. I was quite aware also before but now I don't leave the house without checking my hair and fixing it as needed and making sure I have ok clothes.

I also think I will get that laser of my beard. I don't like it at all when I see the shadow or when there's slight stubble, even though it's sparse and a white/dark mix.

Mine hides pretty well, but when I want my smoothest look I use a pink color corrector under my foundation. There are many videos about this.

Seems that recommendation for laser is when skin is not tanned. Which translates to November. Oh, well, ...

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

You've probably done a lot of research. When I did it, I gave up on both of the hair removal methods. Lots of pain. Needing to do it multiple times. Lots of money. I'm terribly sensitive to pain. In fact, my hypersensitivity feels like part of my femininity, but it IS limiting sometimes.

Yes, Krista, I've done my research (of course I have 😉 ).
So yet a few months before real decision time. Come November I'll know what to do but electro is probably out of the question due to cost and it not being available near where I live. But getting rid of the dark parts of my beard would be nice. A bit of pain is part of the deal and if I go through with this I'll handle the pain.

Finally Anna

We laid in the sofa, close together, watching tv, lightly caressing each other and my wife asked if I'm feeling ok wrt my journey.

Me: I feel ok (exact translation is difficult but my answer meant that I am ok/good but the words chosen also indicate that I perhaps was not feeling great).
She: You know I want you to feel good. I don't want you to avoid things just to be considerate.
Me: I don't think I'm avoiding things just to be considerate.
Me: And how about you, how do you feel about it?
She: I'm ok. I see that you do some hidden and half-hidden things. Are you using femme undies every day?
Me: Almost every day. Is that a problem for you?
She: <Thinking for 1-2 secs> No, it is not a problem. The underwear used is not very important.
Me: You know I have said that the feeling in my mind is what is important.

She sees my hair that now has a definite androgynous touch unless I style it more strictly male, long-ish nails with polish, constant underdressing, my trousers and shorts that are androgynous and perhaps a little bit femme-ish and my femme sneakers, my sweatpants that I use anywhere and my wide-leg light pants used at home. She sees and smells my femme-ish perfumes and shower gel. She knows about my skin care routine. My lash/brow serum, lip gloss, brow pen and mascaras (clear and brown) are on the shelf in the bathroom and are visible unless she actively chooses not to look (for several months). I have a shirt and a blouse and a maxi skirt in my wardrobe, which she can see if she looks in there. She knows I have considered laser on my beard.

And she asks if I am holding back out of consideration for her. I choose to interpret that as loving, caring, supporting and to some extent perhaps also understanding (that this is for real and also a slippery slope).

That truly sounds like she might want to talk about your plans, the next steps, and how the two of you will carry them out together. That is not a bad place to be.

The easiest way to start a conversation like that is not to say This is what I want. But to ask questions about how she feels about it, what she's okay with, and what her concerns are. That tells you what's on her mind and opens the door to discuss how the two of you can address those together.

There is no rush to have "The Talk". But it might not hurt to ease into it while it is still fresh in your minds.

I think both of you are wonderful people.

It sounds she is adjusting. This is where my wife was a few months ago, too. I hope this progresses we for both of you ❤️

Affirmation of my soft behaviour, Anna's behaviour, arrives not only from wife but also from friends, directly to me and also to my wife (about me).

Like this, to my wife:
We don't know what has happened with X (my male name) but he is so nice and we like it a lot.

Feels good!
