I live in a 2 floor flat and the flat above me has wooden floors (I'm on the 1st floor, obviously)

If you have ever lived under any sort of wooden floors then you will understand what I'm about to say

It's horrendous and I usually put up with the banging but they had their TV loud. I watch old films with headphones on but I turned them off and could hear their crap

I buzzed them over the intercom and was sweaty and rude but I don't care.

It's making me miserable and I'm glad I kicked off

Anyone else gone through this?

I lived on the ground floor of an apartment complex for a year and a half: stomping feet, barking dog, and loud music. After numerous complaints about the dog, the manager told the tenants the dog must go. Well, it turns out the dog's owner was the tenant's boyfriend, and he wasn't on the lease, so he had to go too.

About a month later, she moved out. The tenant who moved in was another stomp-walker. She loved birds and set out a birdfeeder on her balcony, right above my patio. I would usually sit on my patio in the morning and have my coffee outside. When I went out, all of my furniture was covered in birdseed and droppings. Again, I complained to the manager numerous times.

Finally, I asked to be put on a waiting list for a similar apartment to what I had, but on the third floor. It took three months, but one became available. I lived there for eight years.

When I moved again to a newly built apartment building (I was the first tenant to move in), the best they could offer was a second-floor apartment. I had issues with the stomping-walker drunk fighter upstairs, plus the hyperactive kids next door. I had enough.

When I moved to Colorado, I swore I would never again live someplace where other people live on the other side of my walls or ceiling—too many inconsiderate people.

Dear Lori:
I agree with you about not living very near to others that do not necessarily share your
sense of privacy.

I grew up in Eastern Montana on my parents 100 acre ranch, and once I checked out
of the Air Force I soon relocated to Alaska on a 27 acre plot of land... and the
nearest neighbor is well over a half mile away...

HUGS, Danielle

I could get used to that... somewhere a little warmer.

Yup, I live on 2nd floor so no one above me but the folks in flat below had a TV on so load I could hardly hear my TV and I had a banging headache. Went down and banged on her door and gave her a mouthful ,now if its load I just bang on my floor and that works!! The other thing is they play video games by the sound of it and the thump, thump is annoying if not load and the washing machine makes my sofa vibrate when its on spin some times as late as 10pm.
One day I might go round to the bloke next door and shove his mower where the sun dont shine as he always picks a time when I want a quiet sit, one of them folks that has to have perfect lines.

Sometimes we just need peace and quiet.  Mowing should be start not earlier than 9am.
Loud sounds should be avoided for sure.

Looks like a Polestar brand cars, I think from Volvo, are making an exit from the USA.  I wonder how those who bought these electric vehicles will get them serviced.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.
