It's a Jeep thing... 🪿

We have a few Jeep Enthusiasts here on the Forums, so this is a place to discuss and show off our machines!

Show off your Jeeps. Vintage or new, stock or modified, 2-wheel drive or 4x4, ducked or not.

Let's see where you take them: the beach, the mountains, the desert, the gas station. 😂

Show off your Mods, or tell us what your plans are. We can swap ideas, advice, issues, and solutions.

I'll kick this off with my 2025 Wrangler in '41 green. I have added a roof rack, cargo shelf, window racks inside and out, and pink accents from the logo decal to hood latches and tailgate hinges.

This was my jeep from the 1980's. I thought the build quality was a bit plasticky. Very economical to run though!

My cousin had a red one. Not sure of model or year but it wasn't very old. Had a 6 which sounded awesome.

I had a 4-cylinder, 2-wheel-drive Patriot for many years. I paid it off before my move to Colorado. It was great on gas mileage, but had no ground clearance, so not so great on the back roads.

This time, I got the 6-cylinder and Trail Rated clearance. I had to add the rock slide bars to protect the body below the doors. But it has the power I need now.

So vital in WW II were Jeeps, and other military vehicles.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

I do love a Jeep! 😀

The only one I ever drove was an Army one in Germany. One of the sergeants in my platoon won the jeep rodeo every single year. He taught me that the trick to backing up with a trailer was to put your hand on the bottom of the steering wheel and forget the whole "steer left to make the trailer go right" thing. You just move your hand the way you want the trailer to go.

Other than a little wear on the pedals, that Army Jeep looks mint. Even the shovel and axe! That is awesome.

@Devlyn

Is this him testing the suspension system? 🤣

Hello, VA? I'd like to file a service-connected disability claim.

VA: There is no evidence that your massive internal bleeding and multiple fractures are related to your military service.

I had to run a few errands. Went to the gas station, and a guy sitting in the car next to me said, "I like the pink accents on your Jeep."

The price of gas is $4.49 a gallon. Um, nope. I have half a tank. I'm good, thanks.

Did some grocery shopping, and when I came out, a woman was standing by my Jeep. She asked, "Do you love this vehicle?"

Yes, yes, I do!

She has an old SJ with 70,000 miles on it. Still gets 28 MPG and was thinking of trading it in. So that got us to talking Jeeps for a bit. Meanwhile, my frozen food is melting in the sun.

Here are the "final" upgrades... for now.

I saw a row of duckies under a windshield inside a Jeep.  They were all lined up across the bottom inside of the windshield, on top of the dash.

They are new. Plastic caps that fit over the OEM parts. They are held in place with 3M Vehicle Exterior Trim Tape, which is what manufacturers and body parts shops use to mount logo badges and trim pieces. I found them on Amazon.
