Hi everyone. Long time watcher of this site, and finally decided it was my time to join. I started my transition MTF in 2022. I just turned 60 the end of july. I paused my transition in 2025 because of my living situation. I'm currently working on restarting my estrogen again. I felt so much better on it.  I've known since I was 3-4 years old that I was a girl/woman. I never felt right growing up,I was always jealous of the clothes the girls got to wear, and couldn't understand why I had to wear ugly boy clothes. It's been a long time coming, and so far a slow process, but I feel it's what I need to do to be happy with my life. I'm also disabled from a botched back surgery, so that makes things even more difficult. Not sure what else to put here now, feel free to ask me questions. Thank you!

Thank You so much Danielle! I look forward to reading and learning all I can here. It's comforting to be among like minded people. The world today is a scary place! When I started my transition in 2022, I felt safe doing it. Now...?? It makes a person wonder. But my dysphoria is getting  terrible off the estrogen, and I just have to restart my journey regardless what happens. I need to feel normal, I deserve to feel it! Sorry, this got to be a longer thank you than I anticipated.😁I look forward to being here.

Hi Briana! You're not alone in feeling that. It's a feeling I felt long before I ever realized I was transgender. Glad you're here!
