No, not at all.
He believes that it will, and is prepared to challenge the election results when he loses. He does not live in reality, and his supporters seem to accept, if not encourage, his delusions.
He made campaign promises to bring down prices, to stop war, to end transgender "lunacy", to deport illegal immigrants, and to reduce crime.
He claims to have ended 8 wars, though he cannot point to any that actually ended by his hand. He started a war with Iran, which caused prices to go up, not down. His deportation policies have been challenged in court many times and are generally viewed as extremely unpopular. His activating the National Guard troops to reduce crime has not actually reduced crime, and people are not happy seeing soldiers with weapons standing around in their neighborhoods.
So, having failed on his campaign promises, he continues to focus on unpopular vanity projects like the White House ballroom, the Trump Arch, and the Reflecting Pool debacle, which have also been challenged and paused in court. The signs of the times are becoming clear to him, with ever-lower approval ratings, that he is losing power.
Members of his own party are questioning and even leaving. So what does that leave? Change the rules concerning mail-in ballots for elections, which are very popular in Democratic states, and try to drum up votes by returning to attacking transgender people. He has nothing else.
