Well!! I did it! Came out to my wife, kids, and my cousin who is like my little brother in Feb. they are all amazingly supportive! My wife most of all! She calls me her "wifey" now 😁

Since then I have started HRT through my GP as of April 10th, so going on 5 months now. Lost about 18 pounds since (still have a way to go, currently just below 180.

Don't get a chance to be me outside the house much, but I discovered bow hunting is SOOOOOO much more fun as me! Was selfie crazy last night 🤦. Just need to keep going, keep working on myself, and get past the awkward hair stage 😡 so I don't feel like I need to wear wigs to look "half decent".

Anyway! That's my update!!! Can't wait to see what the future brings!

I'm so happy for both of you. Congratulations
And then one day you stop to find,
10 years have got behind you,
no one told you when to run,
you missed the starting gun

Congratulations! That's a massive milestone and the fact that you are getting positive feedback from your family is just amazing. You are blessed.

Oh I LOVE THIS! You sound giddy at your profess and the support of your loved ones. Five months of estradiol! ^5! I'm three months behind you. Have you considered t-blockers?

I related to the selfie addiction. I don't think I pass, but sometimes I get a photo that does. I need to accept myself as I am and also at my best.

I'm glad you can grow your hair out. I've list enough hair to be relegated to wigs, but I'm adapting! And instant long hair made everyone that greets me use she/her without being prompted. ❤️❤️❤️

Keep us updated! I need to live vicariously through women like you as I march forward on my own journey.
