I've just watched the Sex Changes in Iran Programme tonight on BBC 2. I thought it was going to be just another freak show.....but it was very surprising and interesting. Their govemnent pays for half the funding for their operation and they seem to get it while they are still young. Looks like I'm in the wrong place....and my 7 year battle with the U.K's NHS made me feel even worse knowing that a country like Iran can be more organised regarding these issue's than the U.K.

Something else that I notice was how feminine and genetic these girls looked and
sounded. The were very different to the U.K and U.S where a lot of the girls look
male and their voices are not as good....I wonder why that is?
