One-time performance artist, former tree surgeon and unicyclist, 50-something transsexual Baby Dee has certainly had an eventful life.

A founder member of Anthony and the Johnsons, she is also part of cult group Current 93 and a solo artist in her own right, with haunting, slightly vaudeville songs from another age, sung on piano and harp, beautifully delivered with unique wit, and occasionally in carpet slippers.
