Pride means different things to different people

Re: "Along for the Pride" (Out in DC, June 6)

There should be one Pride only. Enough of adding all the other events and sub-groups. Questioning? That means that you get drunk and can be open, then sober up and go back to your closet. I have yet to figure out how transgender/transsexual fits in all this. You want to keep racism alive then keep adding separate Pride events. There should be one Pride week, or stretch it into two weeks, culminating with Capitol Pride — (when are you going to get it right, we are in the Nation's Capitol, not Capital).

This story addressed a question that most people only talk about in private. It's not a politically correct opinion, but I think there should only be one Pride for all.
