Yesterday i got told i could be intersex,
I went the doctors thinking it was something else. But i went away with getting told that.
I'm getting blood tests and possible ultra sound to see whats going on in there.
But if it turns out i'm actually intersex.
Will the transition speed up?
Will i get hormones quicker?
And will i need to inform my gender doc if my doctor doesnt?
I have more questions its just putting them into words lol.
So yeah, help/advice would be great.

If you want to transition, you do NOT want to be diagnosed Intersex! There is a well established path for transsexuals to transition but not for Intersex.

(The only possible exception would be if you were born with ambiguous genitalia and assigned a sex and that is supported by your medical records. Even then, most doctors will still try to keep you in your assigned sex.)

Wow, that's rare. I hope you feel special.

It depends on your outward appearance and your gender identity. The easiest way to transition is if your body already looks androgynous (face, height, body type, hair etc).

You can also seek out a clinic that practices informed consent - giving out hormones to whoever wants them and is old enough, medically informed, and not a psycho. As far as I know there are only two - one in Chicago and one in Phillie (maybe).
