David Walliams, known for dressing up as a 'lady' for his sketch show
Little Britain, has written a children's book about a cross-dressing
boy - but he has said writing it was nothing like writing TV comedy.

"This was very different to writing Little Britain. When I'm with Matt
[Lucas] writing sketches, most of the time we're trying to write the
funniest sketches we can. Sometimes we bring in emotional things but
most of the time we're going after jokes. I got emotional writing
certain bits of (the book)."
