Basically it means having undescended testes. I was curious who else had had this condition when they were a child and if they were made to have surgery to "correct" it.

You actually want surgery to correct it. If it isn't corrected you have a much higher incidence of testicular cancer. So it should either be corrected, which is usually done as a small child or have the testicle(s) removed altogether.
