Even as the Election Night confetti rained down on our heads, we in the LGBT community began our scramble for clues as to whether the victorious Democrats were really going to stand up for us.
Would Barack Obama push for repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act, passage of an Employment Non-Discrimination Act protecting transgendered as well as gay and lesbian Americans, and an end to the noxious Don't Ask, Don't Tell military policy?
