Cleaning usernames

Im sorry for asking something that might be th answer somewhere (but I didnt find it)

Do the mods clean the usernames from time to time? I had this same username and decided to log back after sometime. And I can see some of my old post but I had to register again.

How much time do you give until clearing?

Susan usually does a purge of accounts that have not been used for 6 or more months

My old its the same as the new. I was hoping there were a way to reconnect those old post to this "new" name.
