I READ the letter from from Womanly Feelings ("Woman in hiding", Heart & Soul, StarMag, March 29) and can relate to his problem. I'm in my 40s and single. I'd known as a child that I was different and my fond feelings for females have grown over the years.

I'm not an open person and have only shared this briefly with an online friend. I don't think my parents would ever understand my situation. Maybe my siblings would, but I've always felt too shy to talk to them about it.
