'The Matrix Reloaded' co-director Larry Wachowski, center, raised eyebrows when he turned up for the premiere wearing dangly earrings and a rather fetching crocheted cap. A more recent photo has surfaced of the reclusive director, looking even more womanly.

La* definitely passes for a woman.  I hope s/he can speak some day to clear the air and end speculation so that other people can benefit from having the understanding of who TGs are (whether it's a matter of CD, TS, etc).

She looks great!  Excellent clothing taste, even for casual dress.  Perfect skin tone.  Apparent feminine mannerism showing in the still shots. Too bad we couldn't get a profile shot to see how her chest is changing.

Come on!  She is in mid transition!  She is beautiful already.

None of you have any idea.  He/she does not do interviews.  Ever.  Rarely ever seen in public.  So no one knows.  Millions and millions of dollars buys a lot of privacy.

I saw this article a few days ago and I gotta say I was thrilled! I'm a huge Matrix fan. I mean I wouldn't want any one to go through the mental anguish that most trans people have but when some one high profile comes out and doesn't make the trans community as a whole look like two dollar trollops, I get a happy feeling.

Larry has not 'come out' Larry hasn't said word one about it (or just about anything else)  It could be, but it could be a Michael Jackson deal too.

I actually don't know anything about La* Wachowski -- never saw The Matrix -- but just wanted to say "OMG she is super-pretty!!"!  The thing I don't get is, since the Wachowski brothers don't do interviews, how do we know her name is Lana?

And what IS up with Michael Jackson?

Deniability is a good thing lol. It is fairly obvious what she is doing,  but until she actually says something or comes out, people will just have to guess. Although she does leave very little room for error.

That is a lady...now just needs to start dressing like a 40+ year old instead of a teenage skater punk and we will be getting somewhere.

I'd say she is transitioned. Didn't even recognize her. Less flamboyant than Alexis Arquette so far.
