In the occasional discussion with other persons who are labeled activists (pejoratively or otherwise) I will once in a while bring up the topic of Taking Care Of Our Own. Inevitably, this idea is met with great enthusiasm, followed by something which is endemic to the population as a whole.

How do we take care of our own?

The communities of people who fall within the grouping I refer to as Trans (inclusive of transsexuals at any point prior to, in, or after transition) are exceedingly diverse as a bunch, which is only slightly surprising given the size of the population. Among that population are engineers and scientists, computer geeks and game designers, and all manner of potential and possible vocational backgrounds and individual skills.
