These photos span the 20th century, one possibly from the late 19th century. Most look like people just having fun. For others, it may have been a lifestyle. It's impossible to make any assumptions about the subjects' sexual identity. From the thousands of photos I've looked at, it appears that it was in vogue for women to don men's clothing in the 1920's. In this gallery, there's one photo that looks like a rare suffragette image.
