This looks like an amazing documentary chronicling the first time a civil right was put on the ballot, to be decided by mob rule -- Proposition 8 -- and the millions pumped into the fight by the Mormons in the name of faith. Here's the first trailer for 8-The Mormon Proposition:

I tried to read the article without becoming upset. I got as far as through the
headline and about four words into the first sentence and it was either continue
reading and end up smashing something or push the back button and retain my
"cherublike demeanor". The amount of pain and anguish these "Organized Religious"
fanatics have inflicted upon people, surpasses what any of the "third world prehistoric"
religions can dish out. I.................will stop ranting and save my keyboard the
wear and tear. Rainbows, unicorns, sealing wax and other fancy stuff all around.
This group doesn't need to receive any publicity, good or bad.

"I have always wanted to have a neighbor just like you,
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So let's make the most of this beautiful day,
Since we're together, we might as well say,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?" - Fred Rogers
