A friend of killed aspiring model Andrea Waddell has paid tribute to "the sweetest soul ever".

The strangled body of Ms Waddell was found by firefighters after a blaze in the bedroom of her Brighton flat on Thursday last week.

Maya, who lives and works in London, said she had known Masters student Andrea for the past year.

She said: "She was the sweetest soul ever out of everyone I have ever met.
