My vote is Spiro due to very limited risk, very effective at blockng T receptors as well as attacking the production of T from the source, the health benefits, & it's lack of carsinogenic properties when combined with E  & it's positive effect on blood lipids. Again, asking for opinions & experience, not reccomendations.

I was on Spiro, but I vote for Orchie.  If one can not get SRS, then Orchie is the only way to permanently remove the "T".

I've seriously considered this, is it possible to tie off or severe the teste tubes without removing the testicals?

* Flan gets deja vu, this question has been asked before

(no, that is basically sterilization, not orchi)

I understand, do you know if this is even possible?

A vasectomy is done on a regular basis, but it does not stop the production of "T".   Basically you are just shooting blanks.

I understand, is cutting or tying the main con tubes to the testes what they do in a vasectomy? I thought it was something different.

Quote from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VasectomyVasectomy is a minor surgical procedure wherein the vasa deferentia of a man are severed, and then tied or sealed in a manner such to prevent sperm from entering the seminal stream (ejaculate)

Proper definition.  If you wish to eliminate the "T'.  It is by T-blockers or by Orchidectomy.

Is the vasa differential the main tubes you can feel with your fingers leading away from the testes? I don't have a computer, only a small screen phone & cannot read tiny words on med charts.

Yes but you also might be feeling the vein and artery.  The only way to reduce or eliminate "T" is through blockers or Orchie or SRS.  And an Orchie is one of those "Don't try this at home" things.

There is much confusion here. So I will clearly state; a vasectmoy stops only sperm.

Janet_Girl

That is exactly all it does.  It is a male version of getting your tubes tied.

I once read directions on diy orchiectomy. I think that was the most messed up thing I've ever read, and I've read a lot of messed up stuff.

I like spiro too, but I've never tried androcur so I can't say either way.

It's saddening to hear of this kind of desperation, but it's been in the darkest corners of human existance for a very long time.

Cepretone acitate (Androcur) works best for me.  I've tried loads and this seems to be the most effective.

Just estrogen has shrunk me _ down.  The epidimus (sp?) did not shrink so much.

I started on a high dose of Androcur which did not bother me at first.  It started to run my adrenal function down though.  On estrogen alone I am still have high enough T to cause me to notice  >:-).  I can take a small dose of Androcur and it is often effective   :o  :icon_blowme:.

Dutasteride is what I am using now.  I have only been on it for the first two days, but so far so good!  On estrogen alone I had zits all over my back.  Androcur didn't really help either with the amount of cheese I was eating.  The zits seem to be going away now.  The jump in regular T hasn't been too bad.  The SHBG worries me.  That could turn me into a college girl or something.

I would like to try spiro.  Especially as I am planning on including natural progesterone in the near future (blocks T but is also a precurser).

Oh yeah, Nizoral/ketoconazole shampoo'ng directly on the military intelligence is good for about 8 hours of testoterone shut down -- more effective than anything else IMO.  I leave it on and shave my legs or something and then shower.  It is numbing or something so don't get it on your sensitive areas (I use packing tape).

I've never liked the word "balls". It just sounds vulgar to me. That's interesting about the shampoo, but I think you'll like the spiro because of your skin trouble.
  •

Abby

I removed the word.  I don't know what to call them.  It's like they aren't there anymore and I don't want to hurt them feeling around.  And I hesitate to say that because then it come back to me -- as if my balls were a big part of some other ->-bleeped-<-ers life.

The spiro.  I made the mistake of ordering the spiro from _.  (if I can even say that)

Does anyone know of any advantage finesteride/ditesteride may have over spiro?
