More than 16 participants from transgender community from across the state participated in the event held in the city on Monday. After winning, De said, "Parents should not abandon their transgender children. They need to be brought up just like other normal children."
"Getting education for the transgender community is important and government authorities should ensure same equality and opportunities for us," De added.
