SINGAPORE - Days before he was found dead in his Ang Mo Kio flat, Mr Abdul Khalid Othman had reunited with his alleged Malaysian lover, Astro Jakaria, when he found the 28-year-old waiting on his doorstep.

The pair had broken up because Mr Abdul Khalid's family disapproved of the relationship, the transvestite popularly known as "Mummy" had told his supervisor Seet Seng Hai.
