Popular Chinese language tabloid Shin Min Daily picked up on our media invitation and published an article today based on Marla Bendini's blog post, ahead of our media conference tomorrow.  The newspaper also approached the club manager for his response, which was printed with the headline "Club Manager: We're in a dilemma" (oh really?).

Now, let's explore the club's dilemma.  According to the manager, he said the night of the incident was also the club's ladies' night.  The club had arranged with an events company to bring in the pole dancers.

He said he was informed that the dancers would all be female, but they discovered a transgender person amongst the dancers, and she refused to show her identity card when asked.
