Policing Actions In the #Trans Community

There is a rather sad feature to developing cultural forms that relies on a strong degree of self interest. And that is that eventually you have people in that cultural grouping — that community of persons, who are essentially dangerous to the community as a whole.
In the wider social setting, an example of this are things like murder, theft, assault, and the like. Actions which serve to cause that particular cultural group — that affinity group or community — to have to "police" it's own.
This is important, especially for groups that have to function in a wider sphere — such as an affinity group that deals with systemic, institutional oppression and then suddenly has a group of people within it that are acting in a manner which is a liability to the health, well being, and safety of the larger body.
