Well, I arrived safe and sound in PA today. Can't believe I am only two days away from my surgery with Dr. McGinn! This was a day that I once didn't know was possible and for years wasn't sure if it would ever probable. It's amazing to be here realizing that on Monday, a physical scar will be healed. By no means will this mark the end of my transition, there is still a long road to go. There are other scars that are still be healed or worked on. I look forward to finally being able to feel comfortable getting involved in a relationship, not worried about becoming physically involved with someone. Not having to be ashamed of my body. When the physical healing is done, my body be right.

Congratulations! Yeah, I'll be right where you are in PA in just a few short weeks and it's going by very fast. Are you planning to stick around there for a while? I'm so happy for you and really can't wait to hear about your experience with Dr. Mcginn!

Congrats Kat!  I think you'll be amazed, once the physical healing stops taking up all your thoughts, how much mental healing will take place.  Over a year since my GRS and I'm still learning things about myself I had bottled up.
