I actually set this up on DA a while back, but it occurs to me that most of you don't watch me on DA, but many of you might be interested in the theme of the art contest I'm hosting this year.
Contest! Theme: GenderI've made a tradition of hosting an all-media art and writing contest/challenge/event with an open-ended one-word theme. (The past two years the themes have been Love and Activism-- this year, as I already mentioned, it's Gender.)
There are two categories, with seperate-but-parallel rules and prizes:
1.) Draw/write/create something of my characters pertaining to gender.
and
2.) Draw/write/create
anything pertaining to gender.
You can enter either or both. Details are explained in the DA journal linked above.
Feel free to use this board to ask questions about the contest (or about my characters), or just to discuss ideas. If you have a private question that you don't want to ask on a board for whatever reason, you're more than welcome to drop me a DA note or a PM here.
