I wanna get some plants for my new apartment, but I'm afraid there's not enough light. Can indoor plants survive off of fluorescent ceiling lights or do they need a UV lamp? I have a UV lamp for parties, would that work? Or do I not need it? What kinds of plants would be best? I want something really cute & pretty but also fun and not messy and not hard to take care of lol. A flowering cactus or fern perhaps? Do ferns have flowers? I don't need to feed plants right? Just water & light? Do they need to give waste or is everything just absorbed into the soil? Sorry for all the questions, I'm hardly a biologist lol.
