West Hollywood, California (July 19, 2010) - Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office last week announced suspected killer Jesus Catalan's arrest and extradition from Mexico.

Authorities issued an arrest warrant  with a $50,000 reward for his capture after charging him with killing a transgender woman, Paulina Ibarra, 24, at her apartment in the 900 block of Mariposa Avenue last year.

The Beverly Press reports that Mexican officials arrested Mr. Catalan, age 25, in Tijuana on July 3 for vandalism stemming from a dispute with his landlord.
