Jailed for the 1987 shooting murder of hitchhiker Lyn Saunders, Hall was about to be released on parole in September until a change of mind by the parole board.

It revoked her parole at the last minute because her post-release accommodation was not available and then ordered her to remain in jail for at least another 15 months on a pre-release program established especially for violent transexual prisoners like her.
