How long does it take for your body to adjust to the new hormone stmimuli. I had some trouble with the pills I was prescribed post surgery and have not been able to take my old pills till I got back home about 2 weeks ago. Thus I was recieving minimal hormonal stimuli which really affected my mood and sleeping patterns. Starting to get better now but wondering what the typical recovery period is.

it took me a few weeks, but I experienced the same thing. I was on patches before surgery and my doctor switched me to pills afterward. Kind of hard to remember now, but it was probably at least 2-3 weeks after I restarted hormones post surgery before I stopped having low hormone symptoms.  I'm sure it varies but even 4 weeks is probably not uncommon. I was worried at first that switching delivery types might mean I wasn't getting enough, but it seems to have leveled out now.
