coming out to an aquaintance

So, ive been going to starbucks for years now. At the one i go to they ask you your name to write it on the cup. Since theyve known me since before i started my transition, they know my birth name. When i order, since they alll know who i am, they just automatically write my name on the cup, and call it out when my coffees ready. i get a lot of strange looks. Anyone have any advice as to how i can come out to them in a nice way, without making it akward for them. im very shy and passive and not sure how to go about this.

If you are presenting male maybe just give them the corrected name when you order.  They shouldn't care as they are just happy for a sale and dont want to confuse orders.

Or change to different starbucks

I would just come right out and tell them, "Btw, I changed my name, It's ___."    I can't imagine they would care sine you are their business.
